Survivor vs. Big Brother

I was wondering what do people watched more during Primetime, is it Survivor or the Big Brother House?

Here in the Philippines, Survivor Palau Philippines can be watched on GMA Ch.7 while Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up is on ABS-CBN Ch.2.  These 2 shows are on the same time-slot, so people really must choose which is the best reality show for them. 

I think Pinoy Big Brother Series was the first reality show to be introduced here and we were really hooked at that time during it’s 1st Season. I have grown to love Uma, Jason and Frances, they made the show interesting and very intriguing. In PBB, the housemates needs to be wise and mentally alert if they want to win. On the other hand, Survivor was just introduced last year, there, the castaways needs to be physically fit and their mind’s also must be sharp if they want to win.

In PBB, contestants are in a more comfortable place, they can sleep in a soft bed and can eat good food.  While in Survivor, contestants need to find their own food around the area and they have limited place to look for.  Also, in Survivor they will be the one to make their own house to stay. Injuries and accidents are also very common in Survivor unlike in PBB. But having a small isolated place is really a stressful thing to cope up in PBB. 

Both shows needs strategy to win, one should be cool and knows how to deal with others if they don’t want to be voted out.  But the only difference is, in Survivor the castaways are the only people involved in voting out the other contestants, while in PBB the viewers are included in choosing who will stay and who will go. 

I haven’t watched both shows right now so I don’t know if there are something new in these current seasons.   But, for me Survivor is more interesting and unpredictable compared to PBB.
