Who is the better looking Darna?
Hi dear readers!
Darna by Mars Ravelo will be aired by August at GMA7 starring Marian Rivera. This was previously starred by Angel Locsin (which is now on the rival station ABS-CBN).
I would like to know who do you think is more suited to play the role of Darna.

Angel Locsin VS. Marian Rivera
the post saying Marian is fresher looking sounds strange it can come only from a biased opinion.
I mean that’s exactly why Marian can never look the Darna part the way Angel brought life back to the superheroine on tv.
this is just my objective opinion one I share with most others who cared to give their opinion
for Marian the Marimar role was the remake that most suited her probably because the original Thalia is Mexican although again from those who’ve seen Thalia Marian looks more mature in her remake
Angel on the other hand as Darna really brought along that youthful vibe and her unique action superheroine feel that’s why the young market could really relate to Angel as somebody they could look up to
maybe blame it to Santino fever that this newer Darna version is not getting the same reception from the kiddie market the way Angel did in 2005
nevertheless you always think Angel is tailor made fit for action heroine roles including Darna
she’s the epitome of the fantasy superheroine characters the way Marian is more suitable to the more mature Latin soap remakes
Who cares, right! This voting is so pathetic. You can gloat all you want,say ANGEL is the better DARNA but she’s so passe.The fact remains the same, MARIAN IS the new DARNA, so eat your heart out.

I like Angel Locsin as Darna,.. not because she looked sexy but she gave justice to the role,. and she is very down to earth…
for marian, i only see her in interviews coz we dont have GMA channel here abroad.. she’s kinda maarte and suplada… hindi bagay maging DARNA..
angel locsin for me do it better as her character is more convincing as a hero..any one can play the role but only a unique heroine character will do it best and thats angel locsin…
i dont like custome of marian rivera in the up coming DARNA ha! ang laki ng BRA nia grabe..lawlaw kasi boobs nia eh..

Marian is the prettiest and sexiest Darna for me. Angel may have done the role but Marian can do it better. She’s more fit than when Angel did Darna. Angel was all bulges back then
Marian is fresher looking and a lot more graceful than Angel. She got the right moves. She’s also very gorgeous, something that can not be said about Angel.

I’m an Angel Locsin fan and admirer so it’s Angel Locsin in a heartbeat for me. She was awesome in Darna.
Marian can try to give justice to the role but Angel already did it.
