A little girl’s last wish

Colby Curtin, a 10 year old girl from California was diagnosed last 2005 with vascular cancer, with just days to live she had a single request, she desperately wanted to see the new Pixar movie, “Up.” Unfortunately, she was too ill to go to the theater. Pixar learned about Colby’s illness and her dying wish, so the company sent a representative to deliver an unreleased DVD copy for Colby to watch in her room. Though she could no longer see, her mother narrated the action. Colby died several hours after the movie ended with her parents at her side.

UP is about a cranky old man and an overeager Wilderness Explorer who fly to South America in a floating house suspended from helium balloons.
