Sun Life Prosperity Card
I received aΒ Sun Life Prosperity Card last year. This card can be used to invest in any of the peso-denominated mutual funds offered by Sun Life Asset Management Company, Inc. (SLAMCI).
It has a fixed value of Php5,000. If you already have an existing account with Sun Life Asset Management, you may add the Prosperity Card to your existing account via Sun Link Online. If not, you can use it to start an account with them.Β The user or recipient of the Card should be the one to activate it.
Since we already have a mutual fund (Phil.Stock Index Fund) in trust of my son, I just activated the card online.
You need to answer some questions to check what kind of investors are you. With your score they will suggest the different kind of funds they have. Since as I have mentioned we already have one, I just invested it to the same fund.
You can find the Security Code at the back of your card
I like that I can register it online, but unfortunately, I still need to go to the nearest Sun Life office to bring the print out a copy and my valid ID (even though I already sent a copy of my ID online).
This Sun Life Prosperity Card is a nice gift for your child or people close to your heart so that they can have their own starter fund.

Hassle naman that you need to visit their office pa. Buti my financial advisor din everything for us. I got a MF for newborn and VUL for me and my husband. Buti meron ng ganito yung Sunlife…para mas maraming makapag invest. π
