Switch to Watsons brand for more value for your money
As a practical mom, I’m always on the look out for items that gives me more value for my money. I believe that not all expensive brands have good quality and not all affordable brands have lower quality.
As a smart shopper, I choose to save on our personal care essentials such as toothbrushes, lotions, shampoos, etc… in order to afford the things that are more important like paying bills or stocking on food. Watsons also decided to expand the campaign to the pharmacy: Watsons Generics.
Last year, they created a campaign for those who are still hesitant to do the switch. They called it the Switch Test. I was there to witness and do a blind test. I was surprised to know that the items I have chosen that passed my criteria are mostly Watsons brand.
Last Thursday, I attended another Watsons event at Makati Shangrila Hotel. Watsons gathered together their celebrity endorsers (Christian Bautista, Tessa Prieto-Valdes, Iya Villana, Kylie Padilla, Lorna Tolentino, and Edu Manzano). They showed us their latest TVC showing that they also went to the Switch Test.
Running the same blind test used in stores, Watsons asked each of the celebs the simple question, “What’s the difference between these two products?” Their verdict- none! Not even our discerning endorsers could tell the difference between Watsons products quality and the leading brands’. There was, however, one big change they all noted. If you switch to Watsons, you can save up to 80%.
During the event, we also had a fun game, family feud style (yes the one with survey). My friend Badet and I was joined by Watsons newest endorser and the beautiful preggy mom Kylie Padilla.
Luckily, we won over Team Iya Villana.
For the mommies out there, I suggest that you visit any Watsons store near you and try out the Watsons brand and your brand and see the difference.
