3 Places in Manila to bring your Kids this Christmas 2014
I remember when I was still a child and when my father was still alive he usually brings me to C.O.D. in Cubao to witness their Christmas presentation there. We travel from Alabang to Cubao just to see those moving mannequins.
Unfortunately it was discontinued in Cubao already. But the happiness I felt every time we visit that place feels like just yesterday for me. I wish my son could experience such joy now.
And because of that, I came up with this short list where you can bring your kids and let them be mesmerized and feel the joy of this holiday season.
Greenhills Shopping Center – they continued the COD tradition by doing their own version of moving mannequins. (photo via: www.abs-cbnnews.com) This year’s theme reverts to the story of the First Christmas.
It will be held every weekend, the show starts at 6 p.m. and repeats every 30 minutes.
Ayala Triangle Festival of Lights– This event has started last Nov. 16 and it will last until Dec. 30. Watch the lights come to life in Ayala Triangle Gardens every 30 minutes from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Ayala Triangle Gardens will also serve as a fitting venue for the Thanksgiving masses that will be held from December 15 to 23.
SM Mall of Asia The Grand Festival of Lights Parade featuring Sanrio– This will be held on December 6, December 13, December 20, and December 25 from 5:30pm-7pm at the SM Mall of Asia.
For this year Hello Kitty and other beloved Sanrio characters such as Keroppi, Little Twin Stars, Badtz-Maru, My Melody and many more will spread the joy and happiness for fans of any age and gender. Visit SM Mall of Asia Facebook page for details – www.facebook.com/smmallofasia
We were there to witness the first parade today.
So, bring your family in any of these places. It’s FREE!!!
Merry Christmas Everyone!
